As the output confirms, after the value in nums[1] was changed from 2 to 99, the result of rerunning the query reflects the change. This is a key point that must be emphasized. Each execution of a query produces its own results, which are obtained by enumerating the current contents of the data source. Therefore, if the data source changes, so, too, might the results of executing a query. The benefits of this approach are quite significant. For example, if you are obtaining a list of pending orders for an online store, then you want each execution of your query to produce all orders, including those just entered.

2.212 The feeder or distribution system contains the subscriber taps, which are the part of the system that produces revenue. Thus, it is extremely important that it is also properly designed and constructed. Essentially, the feeder system is bridged off the trunk system through a bridging ampli er module installed in a trunk-ampli er housing. From this bridging ampli er, the distribution cable delivers a signal to a series of subscriber taps. When this signal level decreases suf ciently, a line extender or distribution ampli er is required to increase the signal level for another series of taps. Most wideband 750-MHz systems limit the number of distribution ampli er cascades to two ampli ers. Figure 2-7 shows a section of a distribution system, displaying what happens to signal levels along the distribution cable plant. Notice that at the bridger output the signal has a 9-dB slope and, due to taps through loss and normal cable loss, the signal level at the last tap port nearly has a 9-dB tilt (reverse of slope). The higher the upper frequency limit becomes, the more severe the tilt. Thus, the insertion of an inline equalizer before the last tap will provide signal correction. If the system is to be extended beyond the last tap, however, a line extender ampli er with a proper equalizer will be required. Normally, most systems limit the number of line extender ampli ers to two in a cascade. This

This is the unknown current through the 4 resistor that we will nd using superposition in a moment. The other current is found to be 9 5 9 5 5 3 5 7 8 27 + 25 = A 63 25 38
Solving this equation for the current might not be pleasant, but the Laplace transform greatly simpli es the situation. Now we take the Laplace transform of each piece. On the left-hand side, we simply have the Laplace transform of the input voltage: v i (t) Vi (s) On the right-hand side, using Table 13-1, as a guide we nd L di 1 + dt C

Another security benefit isn t so much a technology, but the fact that you don t have to do it yourself. It s up to the cloud provider to provide adequate security. After all, can your organization afford 24/7 IT security staffing The fact of the matter is that your cloud provider might offer more security features than you had before. The fact that so many clients are paying allows cloud providers to have beefier security, simply because of the economy of scale involved. That is, there are many paying clients so the provider is able to do more, because there is more money in the pot. Plus it s to the provider s benefit to offer more, because they want to get a good reputation.
