close to any series-resonant modes, or they will begin to function as short circuits, and not as high impedances. When a MMIC (or discrete) amplifier must be capable of operating properly across a very wide bandwidth, then two RFCs may be required in its decoupling circuit (Fig. 3.97). A low-impedance coil (L1) that functions suitably at very high frequencies without hitting any series resonances and a highimpedance coil (L2) used to block the lower frequencies. The high-impedance coil will begin to lose its ability to block the upper frequencies of the passband because of its inherently elevated turn-to-turn capacitance in this large, lowfrequency coil. In fact, at high frequencies, this high-impedance coil begins to look more like a short. The smaller-value, but much higher frequency, coil (L2) now takes over. An added bypass capacitor (C) to ground may also be placed between the large coil and ground to further decouple any RF into the supply. These precautions will allow a very wide passband to maintain a relatively flat gain over frequency.

Nodes attached to the network also have a finite traffic-handling capacity. End-user devices are limited by the rate at which they can transmit and receive data. Interconnect devices (such as bridges, routers, switches, and servers) must carry traffic for many users. Since these devices must make packet forwarding decisions independently for each frame they receive, their traffic capacity is defined in terms of maximum frame rate. When interconnect devices reach their maximum traffic capacity, they could begin to discard any additional data traffic. Discarded data packets ultimately must be detected and retransmitted by the end stations, degrading application performance.
If you do use one of these letters for a shortcut native command in Excel will be overridden by your setting. A good approach you can use to avoid this mix-up is to use the Ctrl Shift combination, since the shortcuts in Excel uses this combination.

The first step is to conduct an environmental assessment of your organization to determine each department s server processing needs. Deploy custom configured resource and environment auditing agents to poll the servers to identify the current totals of CPU Memory Adapters File and system capacity Total used and unallocated disk space Along with this assessment, you should also identify peaks in CPU Memory Adapter usage Read Write Wait cycles Discover also data that has not been accessed over extended periods of time.
6. Specify the application location. Select the application profile containing the application you want to publish. To select the profile, click Browse and or type the UNC path to the manifest, which is a .profile file (for example, \\file server\file location\Office 2007\Office 2007.profile). 7. After you select a profile, the application drop-down list is populated with the applications in the profile. From the drop-down list, select the application you want to publish. We chose Word 2007. 8. On the Offline Access page, specify whether or not you want the published application to be available offline to configured users. For more information about this option, see Offline Access to Applications Streamed to Desktops, later in this chapter. 9. On the Users page, create the Configured Users list for users or groups who have access to the application. 10. On the Shortcut Presentation page, you can change the icon for the application and choose how the application is enumerated on the user s workstation. 11. On the Publish Immediately page, choose whether or not to make the published application immediately available to your users. By default, the published application is available when you click Finish. 12. Decide on whether you would like to configure advanced application options. If so, check the box and click Next. Otherwise click Finish. Advanced configuration options include Access Control, Content Redirection, Alternate Profiles, and User Privileges. These options are exactly the same as they are with regular published applications.

ASDM supports wizards to help you to easily configure complex appliance features. Wizards lead you through a set of screens to configure a particular feature. By using a wizard, you minimize misconfigurations while from the CLI, you might forget a command or two to complete the configuration of a particular feature. Wizards should be used to perform the initial configuration of a feature; tuning or changing your configuration should then be done from the Configuration screen.
Menus are much more dynamic with BD than with DVD. Instead of a graphic layer that defines a background and a subpicture layer for the highlight states of buttons, each button and its associated highlight states are separate graphics. These graphics are often stored as a set of graphic PNG files. These PNGs are then composited realtime onto the graphics plane by the player (see Figure 12.7, presented at the end of this chapter). A large part of the BD menuing experience is the use of animation. There are a number of ways to create the animations, either with a set of PNG files to represent each state of the animation or via movement of graphical areas or programatic calculations that either expose areas (such as a progress bar) or a programmatic scaling of a graphic or other creative rendering. The challenge in BD-J mode programming of the menus is that the player speeds vary significantly so that an animation sequence on one player may take seven seconds while on another less than a second. Animations need to be tested to ensure that the user has a desirable, pleasant experience on the player they are using. With BD, a highlight state may be represented with a series of PNGs that animate a button to indicate that it has the focus. Menus can be full screen for the top level menu as well as popup menus that appear over the video. Creating the menu experience means that you need to address what is happening on all the planes, e.g., the background plane, the video plane and the interactive graphics plane. Creating the best user experience means taking advantage of the best capabilities of each of these planes. An animation can be either programmed or it could be also composited into the video plane. There are many more creative choices than with DVD. Remember that you also have sounds that can be associated with button presses or the animations or randomly.
