Client-side application virtualization reduces the cost of testing, installing, and supporting applications for both laptop users and PC users still running local applications. Together with application isolation technology, Application Streaming is the enabler of application virtualization on the client. Rather than applications being installed on each user s PC, applications are streamed to a protected isolation environment on their client device. Application conflicts are eliminated while the cost of regression testing, deployment, maintenance, and upgrades is significantly reduced.

With H-VPLS, there is no requirement for nodes to have fixed roles. Some VPLS instances in a provider s network may be provisioned as flat VPLS instances with no hierarchy, whereas others are provisioned as H-VPLS instances where some nodes act as N-PEs and others as U-PEs.

When you first create an object, Designer enables lists of values by default and assigns a name based on the object name. In the following example, you will explore the settings for the Month Number object that you used in 9: 1. Click the Time class and expand the folder by clicking the + sign. 2. Double-click the object Month Number to modify the object properties. 3. Select the Properties tab. Notice that the check box Associate A List Of Values is enabled.
