Editor appearance: The Editor appearance group of options lets you customize how the editor should appear. The Toolbar Location option lets you set whether the editor s toolbar appears above the text area (top) or below it (bottom). The Toolbar Alignment option sets the editor s toolbar to appear on the left or right, or in the center. The Path Location field refers to a context-sensitive display of the Document Object Model (DOM) hierarchy within the rich-text editor. Wherever the cursor is placed, the path will show you which HTML element it is dealing with, as well as that element s parents, all the way up the hierarchy within the editor. The example in Figure 4-3 shows the cursor in an <li> with an <ol> as its parent, which, in turn, is in a <blockquote> element, resulting in the path blockquote ol li. The main purpose of the path information is to help people with an understanding of HTML figure out why something in the editor works the way it does, which can be useful if achieving a particular format is proving to be a tricky task.

After reading the data bytes sent from the controller, the method executes one of two conditions depending upon the first byte in the buffer. The first byte indicates the type of data we are getting from the accessory and is either a 0x10 to indicate that the serve button has been pressed or a 0x20 indicating the new position of the knob. NOTE: In a production system you should check that you have received enough data bytes to execute whatever functions you have planned. In the implementation you receive at most two bytes and can assume that you got that many. In the real world, you would want to check the value of bytesRead to make sure you can continue. If you did not get all the data you were expecting or needing, you would need to temporarily store what you received and wait for at least the next call to _readData. In essence, all you do in _readData is to get the data from the inputStream and then make a decision as to what to do based on the contents.

The standard formula that the optimizer uses for calculating the selectivity of predicates combined with or is not appropriate to an or expansion of an in-list, as the formula includes a factor (catering to double-counting) that is irrelevant in this special case.
As you can see in Figure 3-9, the verbosity of MSBuild has been specified to be detailed (d), and a target has also been specified. Since you have checked the Prompt for Arguments radio button, you can change these default arguments for each execution of MSBuild if you choose. After you close the dialog box, make sure one of your project files is open. Invoke MSBuild by selecting Tools MSBuild (or whatever you set as the value for the title). At this point, you will see a dialog box similar to Figure 3-10.
All .NET configuration files start with <configuration>, and this applies to remoting configuration files as well. A remoting configuration file basically contains the following structure: <configuration> <system.runtime.remoting> <application> <lifetime /> <channels /> <service /> <client /> </application> <channels /> <channelSinkProviders /> <debug /> </system.runtime.remoting> </configuration>
