The keyUp event will fire when the key has been released. It exposes the same parameters as the keyDown event, and can be handled in the same manner. When processing input, it is often better to capture it on keyUp instead of keyDown that way, you can more accurately assess the state of the Shift and Ctrl keys. For example, when the user types Shift+S for an uppercase S, you ll get two keyDown events: one for the initial Shift, and then one for the S. However, for keyUp, you ll only get an event for Shift+S.

The third mode you should be aware of is Command-Line mode (note that, irritatingly, this is not the same as the Command mode). As its name suggests, this is the mode in which you can enter commands to save and load files, as well as perform other fundamental tasks to control vim or to quit the program. You can enter Command-Line mode by typing a colon (:), although if you re in Insert mode, you ll first need to leave it by pressing the Esc key. You can identify when vim is in this mode, because the cursor will be at the bottom of the screen next to a colon symbol, as shown in Figure 15-4. To quit Command-Line mode, press the Esc key. You ll be returned to Command mode. Note that you ll automatically leave Command-Line mode after each command you issue has completed.
Figure 10 11. Application Properties dialog box 3. In the Application Properties dialog box, make the following settings, and then click the OK button to create the new BizTalk application. Enter the name of the application that you are creating. Specify if this application is the default application. Identifying your application as the default application is significant when deploying new BizTalk artifacts from Visual Studio. Unless you specify an application in Visual Studio, your BizTalk artifact deploys to the default BizTalk application. A BizTalk artifact that does not specify a deployment application name will be grouped in your newly created default application. Identify any application references. Identifying application references allows you to share resources across applications. For example, if you have a common set of shared schemas, maps, or pipelines, you can specify them as part of an application reference and not need to make multiple copies of those components for each BizTalk application.

The solution outlined in this recipe consumes an inbound flat file schema message that may have a structure similar to the flat file shown in Listing 2 1. Additionally, this recipe outlines the steps required to manually create a schema for a flat file. BizTalk 2010 also includes a Flat File Wizard for creating flat file schemas (see Recipe 2 12)
