Moving text
To move text within a text box, do the following: 1 Choose the Text tool from the Tools panel 2 Click and drag over the text you want to move

3 Choose Edit Cut or press Ctrl+X to cut the text 4 Click where you want to drop in the cut text

Changing text box dimensions
After you have moved your text box, you may find that the text is too wide, too narrow, too long, or too short to fit in its new position in your design Do you have to change your text Not necessarily Fireworks allows you to adjust the dimensions of your text box, which may be all you need to do To change the width or length of a text box, just follow these steps: 1 Choose the Pointer tool 2 Place the cursor anywhere over the text box
