If you have two images, a 3-D rectangle and a rivet graphic, you re ready to combine everything into a single browser border Just follow these steps: 1 Select the entire rivet image To do so, choose Selections Select All or press Ctrl+A on your keyboard An animated outline appears around the rivet to indicate that it s been selected 2 Choose Edit Copy (or just press Ctrl+C) to copy your image to the Clipboard 3 Click the 784 x 32 rectangle title bar to select that window 4 Paste the copied rivet graphic into the 3-D rectangle s window To perform this paste, either choose Edit Paste Paste As New Selection or press Ctrl+E The rivet image appears under the mouse pointer (If it doesn t, be sure that your mouse pointer is over the 3-D rectangle) 5 Use your mouse to position the rivet near the left end of the rectangle and click the left mouse button to paste it there Paint Shop Pro drops the image in the selected location 6 Paste another copy of the rivet into the window 7 Position this rivet at the other end of the border graphic 8 Deselect the rivet image To deselect a selection, choose Selections Select None or press Ctrl+D Paint Shop Pro deselects the second rivet image in the border Figure 11-15 shows the completed border image
